The year 2025 is the perfect opportunity to reinvent your hair habits for stronger, shinier, healthier hair. So here are my tips for transforming your routine, incorporating natural, personalized products tailored to your needs.
1. Choose natural, sustainable hair care products
What if choosing products that respect your hair fiber and the planet at the same time were ultimately the solution to healthy hair without headaches?
I often like to make comparisons with your carefully selected skincare products, sometimes even without paying attention to price, while your shower is full of various hair products bought (almost) at random. Yet choosing natural, sustainable hair care is essential for a number of reasons:
-
Respect for your scalp: natural products contain fewer harsh chemical agents such as sulfates, parabens, silicones and synthetic colorants often found in supermarket products. Ingredients that weaken the scalp, cause irritation and dry out the hair.
So I can't stress it enough: natural formulas, enriched with essential and plant oils and gentle active ingredients, are the only way to restore hair to full health - Proven long-term effectiveness: unlike chemical treatments, which can give immediate results but damage hair over the long term, natural products work in depth, repairing and strengthening the hair fiber over the long term and adapting to your hair type as it evolves over time (hello unruly white hair!).
- Preserve your overall health: I'm not telling you anything new if I tell you that the chemicals contained in certain hair care products can penetrate your scalp, and therefore your skin, and, in the long term, have harmful effects on your health...
- Have a positive impact on the environment: natural hair care products (at least ours) are formulated with biodegradable ingredients and free from substances harmful to aquatic ecosystems. What's more, recyclable or eco-refillable packaging considerably reduces plastic waste and is even better for your wallet.
2. Opt for personalized products
Every head of hair is unique, and so are its needs.
At Mon SHAMPOING, we understand this, which is why we've developed a unique and innovative concept that combines naturalness, simplicity and personalization. Over a period of two years, I worked with our experts to develop a natural, neutral base suitable for all hair types, offering the perfect canvas for customization.
A unique Shampoo and Conditioner formulated from natural ingredients, enriched with Vegetal Keratin, and free from SLS, paraben and silicone. Combined with one of our 7 boosters composed of essential and plant oils, you'll be able to create your ideal routine for all your hair concerns: dry, fine, color-treated, blond, textured or subject to oily or delicate scalp problems (psoriasis, dandruff, itching...).
The concept is as simple as it is effective: add the entire booster corresponding to your needs directly into the bottle of your Shampoo or Conditioner. Mix, stick on the sticker included in the box to identify your winning combo, and voilà, your personalized hair routine is ready!

3. Space out your shampoos and follow good practices
Although I've already shared my 10 tips for caring for your hair, a reminder is never too much.
- Avoid washing your hair every day to avoid drying it out, ideally 2 or 3 times a week. Don't hesitate to use a dry shampoo to extend this resting time.
- Wet your hair well and always shampoo twice: once to cleanse, once to condition (by now, you should know this by heart). And remember, a dab is enough to be effective, and rinse thoroughly each time to avoid greasy scalp.
- When shampooing, massage your scalp (don't rub) in a circular motion to activate micro-circulation, improving hair growth and health.
- Wash your hair in lukewarm water: water that's too hot damages the hair and encourages the build-up of sebum. Finish with a shot of cold water to close the scales and add shine.
- Apply shampoo to your scalp only, leaving no area untouched. When you rinse, the shampoo will end up on your ends, which is enough to wash them.
- Your lengths need to be moisturized with every wash! Like your face or body cream, apply your Conditioner to your lengths and leave on for the recommended time. Alternate every 10 days with a Mask for deep nourishment.
4. Incorporate a hair scrub into your routine
A healthy scalp promotes hair growth. Many people don't realize it, but you can use a very fine-grained, natural hair scrub, like the one offered with the Mon SHAMPOING Massaging Brush. Scalp stimulation reactivates blood circulation to the follicles, promoting cell growth and regeneration. At the same time, the exfoliating action removes all residues of dust, pollution and products that have accumulated over days and weeks.
Our scrub should be used once or twice a month, before shampooing and on damp hair, to give it a new lease of life.
Indeed, the build-up of residue can clog the pores of your scalp, leading to hair loss or excess sebum. If this is your case, I highly recommend you try the hair scrub - you'll be surprised by the results!
5. Use gentle accessories
Whether in the shower or out, make way for professional, specialized accessories for healthy hair and scalp. Swap classic elastics for silk or spiral scrunchies, and adopt a silk pillowcase or bonnet to limit breakage and preserve your hair's moisture. In the shower, use responsible products such as a wide-tooth wheat straw comb that won't damage your scalp or pull out your lengths - ideal for applying your hair care product, for example.
Dry your hair without damaging it with our ultra-absorbent micro-fiber towel. Dabbing and squeezing your hair without rubbing will prevent split ends and limit your drying time. I also recommend using a Flexible Brush made of silk and boar bristles for gentle detangling, leaving your hair soft and shiny while neutralizing static electricity. My must-have: Detangling Spray Care, which helps me fight knots lightly thanks to its natural composition, always Paraben and Silicone free.
6. Protect your hair from heat
Whether during blow-drying, blow-drying or even in summer with the sun's rays, your hair is constantly exposed to heat. Here are my recommendations for protecting your hair:
- Use a Leave-in Heat Protection Milk before drying your hair. This step is essential to protect your hair from heat and prevent damage. A little plus: choosing a natural product will enable it to be better absorbed, and therefore more effective, without weighing down or greasing your hair.
-
Dry your hair after each wash and use a professional ionic hair dryer. Protect your hair fiber by adjusting the temperature and airflow. Finish with the cold-air option to set your blow-dry and close the scales. My advice: hold the dryer 15 to 20 cm away from your hair for better heat distribution, and finish by applying a Serum to moisturize and enhance your hair (a family favorite).
- Protect your hair from the sun, pool chlorine and sea salt with a range of suncare products specially designed to wash, nourish, moisturize and protect your hair.
Now it's up to you to take care of yourself and your hair (they'll thank you)!
And if you've already ticked quite a few boxes, don't hesitate to raise awareness among those around you by sharing this article and/or your best practices with them ;)
With love,
